JOY VS HAPPINESS

 Happiness is a (noun) Pleasure, joy, exhilaration, bliss, contedness, delight, enjoyment, satisfaction. Happiness, bliss, contentment, felicity imply an active or passive state of pleasure or pleasurable satisfaction.  Happiness result from the possession or attainment of what one considers good. Happiness is not a stable emotion, one minute your up the next your down. Some thing has to be happening in one's life for happiness to occur.

To have true Joy in your heart is to be truly walking with the Lord Jesus Christ. Hebrews 12:2 reads Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Thank God for what He has done on the cross over 2000 years ago at Calgary for our sin. This is a joy that can not be bought or borrowed,God has given us this Joy because of the shedding of His precious blood. Can you imagine if we had to endure the ordeal that Our heavenly father endured for us at the cross?

Joy will allow us to endure trails, hurt and tribulation when it comes in our path. James 1:2-3 reads, My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. This joy that our heavenly father give to us will help us to withstand all that the spiritual world and natural world throw at us.

This joy that only God gives is every lasting to every lasting because He is forever and He lives forever. Psalm 28:7 reads, The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiced; and with my song will I praise him.

Having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ will bring you unspeakable joy. You will have your bad days but I can guarantee you the good days out weight the bad.

If you don't know Jesus Christ as your personal saviour. Why not start today in building a relationship with Him. for get about what you have heard about Christians and our attitude but develop a personal relationship and love for Jesus Christ and you will experience this joy that I am talking about.

If your a Christian and you feel your walk is becoming shaky, then cry out to Him before it's too late. He will hear you because he does not any one to be lost and this includes you.
