Fashion and the Christian woman

I have heard countless times that Christian woman dresses old and out dated. If you have heard this then your not alone. I think the term they meant is modest dressing.  The Lord Jesus Christ said in His word "Do not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God". (Romans 12:2). 

As Ladies we are in the world but not of this world.  What the world is doing we should not be doing , this is not our final destination or Our permanent home. Heb 13:14. While we are here that doesn't mean we can not dress classy and be poised.  When you think of it, have you ever stop to look at our Heavenly Father. He is a splendor of warmth, love and above all Holy and a God of order.  Have you notice how the birds are dressed, how the flowers bloom and how His creation is dressed magnificently. 

Remember who you are in Christ as women. You are Strong, feminine, Courageous and you can do any thing you set your mine to accomplished. Believe it or not we are running a race and I love what Paul said "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: and Paul went on as to say in verses 8, henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 

In the end Let us be in this world but not of it and it start with being set apart. Being Holy, dressing decent and following Christ.
