Abiding in 2016

As 2015 comes to an end and 2016 is upon us.  I wonder, how will life be? Will my attitude be any different? Will secret petition finally come to pass? Seeds that were planted years ago, come into bloom?  So many thoughts and I wonder if.  No one knows what tomorrow will bring, only Our God Almighty knows that answer. In His words, (Philippians 4:6) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. As humans, there's an emergency to want to know ahead before it's in front of us.  We want to know so we can stop the negativity in it's tracks. Stop what might throw us off our guard or what might shake our environment. Unfortunately, There's no way in knowing what is ahead. The One who does know your very thought, the One that knows your tomorrow, the One that formed you in your mother's womb, the One that knows every hair on your head and the One that knows of your ending, does have the answer. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, said the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 56:8-9)."

Yes, He does know it all. He is the God of all Gods and the Lord of all Lords. His words "And the peace of God, which passeth all understand, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.(Philippians 4:7)."  Abiding in Christ Jesus will allow you to withstand whatever comes your way.  He promise to keep your heart and mind, so the difficultly of tomorrow will not be able to easily shake you.

Make all your resolution, all your Promises and all your oat but rest assure abiding in Christ for the New Year is the best decision an individual can make.

What every comes your way for the New Year just remember BUT GOD He can take you through it. Though the water may be unstable around you and  in every direction, stand firm and abide in Jesus Christ.

Have a wonderful New Year.
